We would also love to have you join us for regular Finnish folk music singing – music that you may have heard growing up or today in Finland! Our Suomi Singalong Session is once per month and includes a variety of genres -mainly folk standards, campfire songs, hymns, Christmas carols and children’s songs. We have experimented with Finnish pop music too and include some runolaulu for added flavor. We usually have a small group with a few regulars and often a new person who heard about us will pop in. We’ve had participants from all over the US, Finland, France, Japan, even Turkey! We can try any kind of music or songs participants suggest, as long as they are fairly easy to learn in a short session.
Regular Suomi Singalong sessions are the 3rd Sunday at 12noon CT USA or klo 20 Suomessa!
